An Orthodox church in Hnidyn, Kyiv region, was damaged in Russia’s attack against Ukraine on February 22.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, Russia has damaged over 700 religious sites in Ukraine.
Approximately 200 churches and places of worship have been fully destroyed.
“Russian terror doesn’t spare even churches and believers. This war against humanity and life must be stopped – through unity with Ukraine and strength in collective pressure on Moscow”, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stressed.
