In the application letter to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, it is mandatory to indicate:
– full name;
– contact details;
– information about the registered place of прописка (registration address);
– the essence of the request;
– and to attach scanned copies of the passport and other documents.
If you receive a pension or insurance benefits in Ukraine but currently live abroad, you must confirm once a year that you are alive. This procedure is called “physical identification.”
Deadlines:
Identification must be completed annually by December 31.
If you do not complete the identification by December 31, pension payments may be suspended.
Who this applies to:
– citizens of Ukraine who live abroad for more than 183 days during one calendar year;
– citizens of Ukraine who have obtained temporary protection abroad due to the Russian invasion.
What is physical identification?
It is a simple verification during which the Pension Fund of Ukraine establishes your identity based on documents in order to continue paying pensions or other insurance benefits.
How can you confirm your identity?
You can confirm your identity in one of three ways. Choose the option that is most convenient for you:
