On World NGO Day, we thank all initiatives around the world that have supported and continue to support Ukraine.

In particular, amid Russia’s ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, charitable foundations, international organisations, civic and volunteer initiatives, businesses, and local networks have joined efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience.

This winter, Ukrainian communities received hundreds of generators of various capacities, portable power stations, transformer substations, equipment to restore electricity grids, and other essential aid. Thanks to this support, hospitals, maternity wards, schools, kindergartens, and other social institutions were able to continue operating even during power outages.

This assistance is about warmth and light in our homes and in our hearts.
