The Embassy of Ukraine in Peru expresses its sincere gratitude to the Government of Peru for its support for the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the resolution “Support for a sustainable peace in Ukraine,” initiated by Ukraine within the framework of the resumed 11th Emergency Special Session.

The resolution reaffirms the strong commitment of the international community to the principles of the UN Charter, as well as to the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.

The document also expresses deep concern over the ongoing Russian attacks against Ukrainian civilians and critical infrastructure, as well as the deterioration of the humanitarian situation.

Ukraine remains committed to achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace. We highly value Peru’s solidarity and its contribution to strengthening international unity in defense of international law, peace, and security.
