In the past day and night, Russian strikes against Ukraine have killed at least 16 civilians and injured dozens. Russia carried out a massive terrorist attack, launching nearly 700 drones along with dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles.
At least four people were killed in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old child, and more than 50 were injured. Eight civilians were killed in Odesa, three were killed and several dozen wounded in Dnipro, and one person was killed in Zaporizhzhia.
These attacks are war crimes and cannot be normalised. Delays in sanctions and support only encourage further aggression.
Justice for Russia’s leadership must be inevitable. We call on all states to join the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine through the Council of Europe’s Enlarged Partial Agreement.
