Already 11 countries – Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, and Ukraine, together with the EU, are boycotting the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics-2026 at the official level.
The decision came after the International Paralympic Committee allowed Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete under their national flags and with their anthems at potential medal ceremonies.
Allowing state symbols of the aggressors at an international sporting event is unacceptable while Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, supported by Belarus, continues.
Your solidarity matters. It sends a clear message: sport must stand for peace, fairness, and respect for international law.
