ATTENTION: The consul does not register the birth of a child if the legislation of the country of residence or stay provides that such registration must be carried out by the local authorities. If a birth certificate for your child has been issued by the local authorities of your country of residence or stay, no repeated birth registration is carried out at the Embassy, and no Ukrainian birth certificate is issued. For use in Ukraine, a child’s birth certificate issued by the authorities of Peru or Colombia must be apostilled and translated into the Ukrainian language.
