Certificate of no criminal record in Ukraine
12 March 2026 09:00

The competent authorities of Peru and Colombia may require a certificate of no criminal record for various administrative procedures, in particular when applying for or renewing a residence permit, employment authorization, or other official procedures.

For use in the territory of Peru or Colombia, the certificate of no criminal record must be issued in one of the following ways:

Option 1. Certificate issued by the competent authorities in the territory of Ukraine.
In this case, the document must be apostilled in Ukraine and accompanied by a notarized translation into Spanish.

Option 2. Certificate issued by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Peru.

ATTENTION! Certificates of no criminal record that are downloaded free of charge from the “Diia” application, even if accompanied by a certified translation into Spanish, are not accepted by the authorities of Peru and Colombia.

Such certificates are intended exclusively for use within the territory of Ukraine.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE INFORMATION BELOW ⬇️

If you have the “Diia” application, you can obtain a certificate of no criminal record during a consular appointment at the Embassy of Ukraine in Lima or during an outreach consular service in Colombia.

The certificate is issued in Ukrainian and Spanish on the official letterhead of the Embassy of Ukraine in Peru.

The consular fee for issuing a certificate of no criminal record is 30 USD.

An apostille is not applied to documents issued by embassies or consulates. Instead of an apostille, the procedure of legalization of the consular signature at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence is used.
